Protests Planned Against US-ROK Freedom Shield 25 Military Exercises in Korea 

Nodutdol for Korean Community Development and progressive organizations will hold public demonstrations as part of the US Out of Korea Campaign against the Freedom Shield 25 drills planned for March 10 to March 19. 

On March 1, hundreds of community members will join Koreans and allies in the United States to oppose the bilateral military exercises taking place in South Korea. A series of protests will take place in:

  • New York, NYC: Saturday, March 1 at 1:00 PM EST. Dag Hammarskjöld Plaza. E 47th St and 1st Ave., New York, NY 10017
  • Los Angeles, CA: Saturday, March 1 at 1:00 PM PST. Wilshire/Vermont Station. Wilshire Blvd & Vermont Ave, Los Angeles, CA, 90010
  • San Francisco, CA: Saturday, March 1 at 1:00 PM PST. Comfort Women Memorial. 651 California St., San Francisco, CA 94108
  • Seattle, WA: A public vigil for the “comfort women” activist Gil Won-Ok will be held on Saturday, March 1 at 10:30 AM PST. Consulate General of the Republic of Korea. 115 W Mercer St., Seattle, WA 98119

These rallies are a part of Nodutdol for Korean Community Development’s US Out of Korea campaign.
