Picture this scene: an elite ski resort rests at the end of the steep, narrow and icy road that climbs Big Sky Mountain (Big Sky, Montana). Towards the east, warm lights glow through the windows of the grand Shoshone Hotel (up to $840/night per room), in stark contrast with the cold blue of the frost on the tree limbs outside. In the parking lot below this luxurious building stand a few worn tents surround by flags and banners. The encampment is guarded by a line of snow people sporting headbands that read 단결 투쟁, holding picket signs, and generally looking as militant as snow people can….

We’d like to introduce two of 2010’s KEEP participants from the NYC area- Jenny Kwon and Mark Ro Beyersdorf. We are happy to welcome them and look forward to working with them in the future!
